Handy, versatile oven
I have used it for making frozen pizzas on the top rack, banana bread too while keeping track of temp with a digital meat thermometer I use for grilling for now. I plan to tap in an analog version later for convenience. It works well and cooks faster than regular oven times for frozen pizzas(approximately 2ish minutes sooner). Banana bread is the lower time for the mix, then when it comes out I wrap the loaf pan in foil for ten minutes on the table to make sure it’s good and ready. With a few taps it comes right out the nonstick lightly floured pan I bought for it. I made biscuits on the stone, but it does take trial and error to get the amount of charcoal right for not cooking the bottom past done, I’ve resolved to make use of the top rack mostly until I can get a thermometer installed and get the hang of maintaining the stone temp. Never cook frozen pizzas on the stone, it will crack, but should be fine for freshly made pizzas. Pay attention to stone maintenance, and always gently preheat the stone. I take dry oak twigs stacked under charcoal with a little tinder under to ignite the twigs about central. Very useful oven, most everything turns out great! I plan on trying out turkey legs later, roasts, and chicken. It is so nice that the oven comes with a cover and handles too for portability! The handles on the sides do get hot, so have potholders handy. The oven and fire hatches have knobs that stay cool for easy access. I stuff foil in the holes to keep the wasps out until I cover it after it cools, reusing foil each time that I store in the cover. Only addition I wish it had was closeable fire vent holes, but still a terrific oven!

Easy set up
This needs to come with better directions

Works!
Once you get the proper temperature under control, works great. I burned my first few batches until I got the temp down to about 350-400. Any higher and you risk burning. I’m going to try a thicker stone next spring and see how that works at higher temperatures.

Mostly smoke for top grill
My first time I tried pizza and threw some butternut squash to free up my oven time. Usually squash cooks pretty good. Pizza came out fluffy and kind of burnt at the bottom. For the 15 minutes the four logs were at strength temps hit about 258degrees F. More of a smoker not quite a grill. For this time at least. Top rack didn’t cook just smoked.Gave it a three because of safety but relating to the other comments on heat regulation.

This is so nice. Can’t wait to make my fist pizza.Easy to assemble

Portable can take camping or backyard
Smokes up nicely. Took some hard wood briquettes and added wood chunks. I make keto flatbread pizzas. And the flavor is amazing. I love it’s portable. The top handle had a spring but no spring for bottom handle and that didn’t make much sense. I had no instructions in the box. That made it a bit challenging. Doors hard to handle when bowing due to heat. Make sure you have high heat gloves.

Durable final product!
Bought this weeks ago and FedEx damaged the product beyond repair. Customer service with Giantex was 10/10 getting it replaced. They were in a different timezone but their responses were very fast, had answers and were friendly. The pizza oven turned out like the pictures. Instructions were a little hard to follow sometimes but not impossible. All the drawers and trays line up perfect and there’s no weird scraping or rubbing. Bolts for the most part gave no issues in fastening them. Cover fits perfectly and has withstood several storms while keeping the unit dry.I would buy from them again JUST because of their customer service. Seriously genuine people working their support channels. I’ve had too many nightmares on here to not say something positive, so there it is. 🙂

Terrible instructions on assembly
Cheap parts, terrible instructions. Stone was broken on arrival. Haven’t tried to use it. My husband added better screws nuts and bolts and hopefully it won’t fall apart during use. Don’t buy. Cheaply made.

Not a Pizza Over, it’s a Oven
I would suggest that you do not buy this oven. It’s flawed in design and cheap metal products. The range does not hold the heat because of the thin material. I have also encountered an issue with shipping. Since the unit was shipped to the wrong address, they started my time for return at the point of bad delivery, which was ten days earlier. Lots of words don’t use this Seller.

Unusable
Even though this oven has many pieces that need to be assembled, the problem was that of the 1st 4 pieces that we put together, 2 of them were bent to the point that we could not assemble it properly. We chose to return it, but will have to PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING! Unacceptable, terrible company.

Sending it back. It was bent so badly we couldn’t even put it together. Crap.

Not worth it
Hard to hold heat wide, temp swings. If you add fuel while the pizzas in it, it will put soot on the crust. Large soot build up inside oven. Very hard to get return credit from vendor. Heat is centered underneath pizza stone if you like your crush charcoal by the time the rest of the pizza is cooked.

The product doesn’t not bring all the things that it shows.
The producto does not bring all the things that it show. One of the reasons that selected this product is because it shows two wooden tables, but they don’t come with the sell.

It’s a cheap piece of crap. The pizza burns to charcoal on the bottom and the top doesn’t cook. Very disappointing.

So much fun to use
Great for camping! We grilled steaks and porkchops as well as baked pizza. Fired it up with some wood, then added charcoal to keep an even heat. Easy to use. Would recommend to anyone.

Fun to cook with
Man if you want a good fast Pizza that is wood cooked this Pizza Oven will do the job and more. It cooks many things not just pizza’s. But for me, it’s the to go Pizza oven. My only gripe is I can’t use it in the winter, it’s just to cold then otherwise it would be Pizza year round! When you get this you get everything you need except for the wood and food lol.No seriously, they give you a pizza stone, two metal grill cooking racks, two charcoal racks, a pizza cutter, a protective glove, big pizza paddle, scrubbing wire brush and an outdoor cover to protect your oven from the elements. You can control the heat in various ways with the chimney flue and the oven door ventilation. The oven comes complete with a built in thermometer. I use a laser temperature thermometer to make sure the pizza stone is close or at 400 degrees. That way you get a nice crust and fast cooked pizza. The oven can be easily moved too, because it comes with a handle and 2 wheels so you can move it around where you need it quickly and easily!

Makes nice crisp pizza with smoky flavor
I was very excited to try this pizza oven. This was very easy to assemble and is small and portable and perfect to take for picnics and camping. The bottom part is for placing wood or charcoal and on top of it are 2 racks. This also comes with pizza stone which fits neatly on wire rack. After one failed attempt and burning my first pizza on this oven, i learnt that we need to use the wood that does not create flames and burns like charcoal. Hardwood chips or charcoal is best to use with this oven. I used both and results were great. Just make sure to let the flame settle down and it comes to a stage where there is heat without flames else the food will burn. After placing the pizza inside, door can be closed to attain required temperature. This oven can also be used to make delicious naan and other flatbreads. We also used this for grilling meat and vegetables during our camping trip. The legs of this oven fold for easy storage. This also comes with a cover which is great.

This lil gem is amazing
Absolutely amazeballs! Our friends make the best pizza so we decided to get this as a house warming gift when they bought their new home. Absolutely outstanding. Took us about 30 minutes to put together but we were talking and laughing so could be shorter. Makes great pizza!

I ordered this on July 24th from a village in Quebec and on the 27th it was delivered, built and ready to fire. As expected it is a little flimsy kinda like a cheaper gas BBQ. But all the holes aligned perfectly and it came with all its parts 100% . Took about 1 hour to build with a beer and music. The doors screws are a bit loose but it help the doors to open easy. Have not fire it yet as I didn’t expect such a swift delivery and had pizza foe lunch! Lol.For $269.00 CAD…this is just perfect. Now the rest is on me…ie burning crust, temperature control etc….I mean it’s a wood burning stove with intuitive flue control. Can’t wait to start burning some crust! LolFew days later….Better this time but temp control still a challenge. We’ll I could have bought a gas one if I wanted perfect temp. But the flavor here!!!! Hmmm. This time I put too much wood and the temp went up to 800F…! the trick for the pie to slide down easy is to actually floured the aluminium Big spatula and to make your pizza directly on it. It will slide easyin the oven afterward. Enjoy!!!I think that the design flaw is due to the chimney being where it sits so 80% of the heat goes right to the stone and not enough get capture by the dome shape even with the flu off…so burning crust and undercooked toppings is very easy to achieve. But still happy with the experiences.Aug 20th….third updateToday I tried with only charcoal and then I added wood chips just before throwing in the pie….much easier to keep the stone temp right at around 500 degre. (Also bought a laser thermometer)Much better results.

WHEN COOKING WITH THIS PIZZA OVEN IT IS INCOSTINT. THE TEMPERATURE FLUXIATES FROM 290 TO 780 F AND THE TEMP IS UNCONTROLABLE. AND IT TAKES JUST UNDER 2 HRS TO GET IT TO TEMP . THE FIX ADD 6 FIRE BRICKS 3 AT THE BOTTOM ONE AT THE BACK AND ONE ONE EACH SIDE. THEN YOU CAN HAVE THE FIRE READY TO GO IN 15 MINUTES. PUT THE BRICK ON THE GRILL TO SAVE THE GRILL TRY AND USE WOOD WITH OUT BARK. THE GUAGE WILL GO BLACK CLEAN WITH GLASS CLEANER AND A RAZOR BLADE. AS FOR TRANSPORT THE HANDEL NEEDS TO BE LONGER. YOU CAN ONLY TAKE BABY STEPS WHEN MOVING. A TABLE ON BOTH SIDES WOULD BE A BONUS. HOPE THIS HELPS OTHER THAN THAT I M VERY HAPPY WITH THE STOVE NOW THAT I HAVE MADE THE CHANGES
Linda C.
It takes a bit of tweaking, but we’ve had some delicious pizza. Our house smells like a pizzeria when we bring them in from outside!
Jim
As with any wood burning stove the temperature was a challenge to regulate. It seemed to burn hotter than required. No problem if you like your crust crispy. Must watch carefully.

Bad quality. And small
This product is just bad. For the price I don’t know what I thought we would get but it’s bad. You put any torch on the screw and they strip out. The whole thing is made of flimsy “metal”. If I were to get another one I would spend more money for quality. I’m almost afraid to fire it up and good chance it won’t fit a normal size log. Get ready to start choppin.

I was in the market for an at home pizza oven, but did not want to spend the money on a higher end model. This product was easy to assemble, and with different fuel options convenient for me.I used pellets and was able to make a pretty crispy pizza.

ZERO STARS
If I could give this product zero stars I would. First I thought it would be a good black Friday deal since there was a coupon for it. Unfortunately, after reading all the reviews I come to the conclusion that it’s not very sturdy or reliable oven the company refused to send a return label so I can ship it back And UPS wanted $200 to ship it back when it only cost me 160 I do not recommend this product

Defective right out of the box
Highly disappointed with this product. First, the directions for assembly are very, very confusing. Second, the chimney was all bent up and the holes where the screws go in the the support panel between the legs are in the wrong spots. (Trust me- I quadruple checked to make sure I had the legs in the right spot). This is a Christmas present for my husband and I am embarrassed to give it to him. I am assembling what I can since it’s Christmas, but very unhappy he won’t get to use this product because it still needs work.Save your money. This product is junk and not worth how much they are asking.

Difficult to hold heat once you start the fire large fluctuations in temperature
Like the idea of had some successes but there’s soot build up and as I said the temperature is fluctuate a couple hundred degrees hard to hold a good hot temperature for pizza

Manual is not the best to help you to put all together, should be way better. No instruction how to use, best way to fire so if you never use it before you will be a bit lost. You can not make a big size pizza only small
Quintion S.
Got this pizza oven for our backyard and it is perfect for our needs. Let the stone reach temperature, rotate the pizza and wait until the stone return to temperature before cooking the next pizza. Takes some practice getting the perfect pizza but it’s awesome.

It was great value the price that you pay. The instructions to build were good for the most part. The flavourfulness of the final product was awesome. Everybody that we entertained during the first try. Loved the pizza. We burned the bottom of the first pizza. But we just sliced the burnt layer off. One problem: the heat gauge turned brown inside on the first use. But overall, I recommend this buy.
